What is LDN Awareness Week?
LDN Awareness Week is created and run by The LDN Research Trust, founded by Linda Elsegood. The charity is based in the UK but has an impressive global reach. The primary aim of the Trust is to initiate clinical trials of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for autoimmune diseases and cancers.
This year is particularly special as it marks 20 years of The LDN Research Trust. The fourth book produced by The LDN Research Trust will be released officially on the first day of the LDN Awareness Week (17th June). New Horizons.
Whilst working to raise funds for trials, the Trust has helped more than 100,000 people globally obtain LDN from a general practitioner or consultant, either through the National Health Service or by private prescription.
By raising awareness of LDN and funding clinical trials that will be published for the benefit of the public, we hope to achieve our ultimate goal for everyone to be prescribed LDN by the NHS and around the world, for all conditions where LDN could be of benefit. The LDN Research Trust is a non-profit Registered Charity, and everyone is a volunteer.
To help us continue our work to bring relief to all people with multiple sclerosis and other conditions, we would appreciate help with fundraising, either in cash or in kind. You can be sure that all contributions are greatly appreciated, however small.
When is LDN Awareness Week?
LDN Awareness Week will take place between from the 17th – 23rd June 2024.
How to get involved in LDN Awareness Week
This year we are excited to team up with other charities to increase the impact of our campaign.
During LDN Awareness Week, the LDN Research Trust will provide a range of information and resources to help people with Autoimmune Diseases, Cancers, Mental Health, Chronic Pain, etc. If you’re a charity member or organiser and would like to work with us to create an event around LDN Awareness Week, or if you’d like to discuss other ideas such as cross-promotion, discounts and promotions for our book series (The LDN Books 1, 2 and 3) or work to co-host an event about LDN we’d love to hear from you. For media interviews, case studies and more information: helenlewis@literallypr.com. If you’ve got experience of prescribing or taking LDN we’d love to hear from you to spread the word about the positive impact of LDN on so many illnesses.
